Edmund L. Tedeschi III
Edmund L. Tedeschi III (Ted) has over 14 years of business management and accounting experience, having successfully managed business units for small to mid-sized companies, ranging from providers of office equipment to software to financial and professional services. In each of these roles he has been successful at developing systems and financial models to effectively track divisional profitability, customer satisfaction, and analyze existing and potential revenue streams to minimize costs and maximize overall ROI. He is experienced at developing and creating financial statements pro-forma reports, as well as managing the day-to-day accounting functions of small to medium sized companies. He is experienced in QuickBooks, Peachtree and MAS 90 accounting software systems and has assisted numerous businesses in the selection of the appropriate technology solution, establishing systems and following appropriate business logic to create meaningful reports and information for each clients unique situation. His gift is his ability to build relationships with his customers and effectively communicate technical concepts to clients at every level of an organization. He is fully bi-lingual in both English and Spanish and successfully opened doors and created new market opportunities in Argentina, Chile, Columbia and Mexico, as well as throughout the Continental United States.
Since 2004, Ted has been providing property tax and real estate consulting services, and has personally reviewed and drafted the mandatory disclosures on over 1,200 individual residential and mixed-use construction projects throughout the states of California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas. As a result of years of experience in assisting homebuilders and developers, Ted has acquired expertise in understanding how these taxing districts are formed, where data and information can be obtained to ensure documentation and accuracy in a database, and what elements and technical attributes a disclosure must contain to be fully compliant with the respective laws governing tax disclosures for new home development. Other services that he has provided to homebuilders and developers have included Fiscal Impact Analysis, Public Financing Feasibility Studies and Property Tax Appeals.
Viewed as an expert in the field of property tax, he has given lectures on the topic for Home Builder Associations, Real Estate Boards and groups of builders and realtors throughout the State of California. In addition, he has written many articles on the topic for publications including Builder & Developer, Hispanic Network, and Professional Woman Magazines and has been quoted in the Los Angeles Times, Orange County Register and Sacramento Bee newspapers, along with many other on-line publications. Ted holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance and Marketing, and a Masters Degree in International Management.
